Channel: Phone call to the Wilks office (Carter has called before; the receptionist was open).

Purpose: Two pieces — (1) the call script Carter uses when speaking to the receptionist, and (2) the "leave-behind" — a brief summary the receptionist can pass up the chain or email internally.

CONTEXT (from Carter)

Carter has called the Wilks office before. The receptionist was open and receptive. This is not a cold call — it is a warm-enough follow-up. The script respects the receptionist as a gatekeeper with real authority over what gets passed upward.

PIECE 1: CALL SCRIPT

Voice: Respectful, unhurried, human. The receptionist is a person, not an obstacle. Carter speaks naturally — this is a guide, not a teleprompter.

OPENING

Carter: "Hi, this is Carter Hill. I called a while back — I'm reaching out to see if I might get a brief message to Pastor Wilks."

[If they ask what it's about:]

Carter: "I'm a software engineer who has built an artificial intelligence system that is grounded in scripture — in the Hebrew scriptures specifically. I believe what Pastor Wilks teaches about preserving the original Word aligns deeply with what I've built, and I'd welcome the chance to share it with him briefly. KEY PRINCIPLES FOR THE CALL

Never rush. The receptionist at a rural Texas church office operates on relationship time, not Silicon Valley time.
Use "Pastor Wilks" — not "Mr. Wilks," not "Farris." He is a pastor first. That title signals you understand who he is.
"Hebrew scriptures" not "the Bible" — this is his specific emphasis. Assembly of Yahweh (7th Day) treats the Hebrew texts as primary. Using this language signals genuine awareness.
Name the problem they already feel — "every other AI suppresses faith content." The receptionist (likely a church member) has probably experienced this personally.
Zero pressure. If they say no, accept gracefully. The letter (WILKS-LETTER.md) is the backup play — ask to mail it.
Write down their name. If the receptionist gives their name, USE it. Small-town Texas church offices are personal. Being remembered matters.

PIECE 2: LEAVE-BEHIND (for the receptionist to pass up)

Purpose: If the receptionist says "send me something" or "I can pass something along," this is what Carter sends — a short, non-threatening summary that a church secretary can read in 60 seconds and decide whether to put in front of the pastor.

Format: Designed for email OR print. Under 200 words. No jargon.

FOR PASTOR WILKS — FROM CARTER HILL

Three bold sections — What/Why/Ask — scannable in 15 seconds.
"Nothing. No money. No partnership." — the three things a gatekeeper is trained to filter. By ruling them all out in one line, the leave-behind passes the filter.
"Hebrew names... 7th Day" — again, his specific theology. A generic Christian pitch would say "Bible." This says "Hebrew texts" and "7th Day." That specificity is what makes a secretary think "this person actually knows who we are."
